Fuji Seal International, Executive Officer Machine

I have been working with Gert-Jan for about seven years. In the early days TWWWI helped us to build our HR organization with the necessary HR measurement tools. Marlise Mahieu acted as an interim HR manager from the network. She was a great help in bringing these tools alive and taking the HR organization to the next level. Meanwhile Gert-Jan facilitated the development of our managers with great success.

In 2008 Gert-Jan and I developed a strategic plan for the integration of two different machine portfolios into one global machine portfolio. We merged Fuji Seal’s Japanese and European machines by using the best of both portfolios. The idea was to bring down the number of machine types, refocus R&D and reduce cost significantly. Gert-Jan supported this process from the business case until the implementation. Four years later this approach has shown its results: The lower cost base has materialized, customer service has become easier and sales are up.

I believe Gert-Jan’s strength is his hands-on approach and deep involvement from the start while using the network during the implementation. At the same time he keeps an eye on the whole process and the results. For me this is a guarantee for success.
